Just like a typical bodega in Buenos Aires with interiors decorated with a violet and reddish Malbec-like colour, to visit Tango y Vinos is to jump down "The Rabbit's hole" and do a virtual trip to Buenos Aires.Tango y Vinos is an ambassador for Argentinean wine and we present a wide and interesting selection of wines from home. At our place, you will find internationally renowned Bodegas, but also less known wineries.Our wine list is a refreshing combination of today's Argentine wines.
The selection is made upon quality and taste of the wine; and not the reputation of the wine bodega or the wine maker.Malbec is of course the principal grape, but Argentina has soo much more to offer for the adventurous one. And so do we, because Argentine Wine is much more than just Malbec: Bonarda, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir, Tannat, Torrontés or Semillón. The possibilities and combinations are almost endless. We have a selection of approximately 2000 bottles.
Tango y Vinos is also a low-key Tapas Bar. We serve tapas inspired by the multicultural and eclectic Argentinean Cuisine: for this very reason, you will find a wide array of European and Latin American Cuisines that reflect today's Argentina: a true melting pot of different nationalities and cuisines. In other words: We are not restricted by geographical limitations. Our only dogma is once to satisfy your taste buds and to ensure that you waltz (that is: tango...) out from Tango y Vinos well satisfied.
During the weekends, we invite musicians to play concerts in our joint. Especially jazz is on the repertoire. But you will regularly find concerts with artists performing bossa nova, blues, flamenco, funk, motown, samba, soul, swing, tango… etc.
Last, but not least: when you visit Tango y Vinos, we want to make sure that you get the service you deserve. We thrive when giving the best possible service in terms of wine and food.
